Unless it’s a beautifully done and entertaining commercial, my hand reaches for the “Mute” button on the remote the moment that commercial breaks start. The dilemma: Many commercials (especially those for cars!) are visually loud and so in your face that the whole room is blinking! My wish:
A visual “Mute” button for all TV remote controls! It would dim the screen just enough to still see when the program changes. If it’s already out there, somebody please give me a pointer. And since we’re already talking about them, my wishlist includes a collection of motivating, beautifully executed commercials from companies such as Nike, Coca Cola, Reebok, etc. VHS, DVD, digital, any would be great!
